Nikolay Andreyevich Ivanchuk was born on 2 January 1946 in Ukraine.
He graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1968. He is Doctor of Science, Professor, deputy chief of Radioelectronic Industry Department at Russian Federal Industrial Agency.
In 1968 he was engineer in SDO "Vympel", in 1970-1990 he was engineer, senior engineer, senior staff scientist, laboratory head, division head in NSC "Vympel". For the period 1990-1992 he was rector of All-Union Institute of Supervisors and Engineers Advanced Training in the field of standardization, metrology and products quality; since 1992 he was director of General Scientific Department at Russian Ministry of Industry; since 1993 he was deputy chief of General Directorate of Communications Industry at Russian State Committee of Defence Department; since 1997 he was director of Industrial Communication Media Department at Russian Ministry of Economics.
He is academician of International Communications Academy (1996), academician of International Academy of Natural and Social Sciences, Honorary Radio Specialist of Russia, Russian Defense Department Prize winner. He is Russian plenipotentiary in the Intergovernmental Council "Radionavigation" and other intergovernmental organizations. He is the member of radioelectronic conferences' committees, which are popular in Russia and abroad. He is co-chairman of CriMiCo Program Committee since 2006.
Prof. Ivanchuk's high professionalism is combined with his position regarding the development of native science and industry in the field of radioelectronics and development of intergovernmental (CIS) cooperation.
